Free stock tips : IndiGo promoters defend move to pay out dividend ahead of IPO

Free stock tips : IndiGo's promoters Rakesh Gangwal & Rahul Bhatia defended the airline company's move to declare a generous dividend ahead of its IPO(initial public offering) as being in line with a practice it has followed over the years, but admitted that the "optics" of the move were "not good." Analysts & investment advisors have been harshly crucial about the move, especially since it left India's most profitable airline with a negative net worth of Rs 139.4 cr. for a brief while.

Gangwal, former CEO of US Airways Group, did most of the talking during the meeting with ET. Based mostly in the US(United States), he visits Kolkata along with his wife at the time of Durga Puja festival every year. That time he detoured through Mumbai to meet the investment community as part of the IPO road show. The dividend payment of Rs 1,207.08 crore for the year ended March wasn't unusual behaviour.

Nifty futures tips : Robust US 2nd-Q growth backs case for Fed hike 26 Sep, 2015

Nifty futures tips - The US economy extended even more than previously assumed in the 2nd-quarter on stronger consumer spending & construction, backing the case for an interest rate hike before the end of this year regardless of data sounding a note of caution for September.

The Commerce Department said on Friday gross native product rose at a 3.9 per-cent annual pace in the April-June quarter, up from the 3.7 per-cent pace reported previous month. The data supports the case that the US economy may be gaining enough strength to withstand an increase in benchmark interest rates from record low levels regardless of growing concerns about the global economy. Still, many economists are expecting a cooler pace of growth in the third quarter, a view strengthened by separate data showing slower growth in services & a drop in consumer sentiment in September.

The US Federal Reserve previous week held off on hiking rates, but The Federal Chair Janet Yellen kept the door open to an increase current year in a speech on Thursday this week, as long as inflation remains stable and growth is strong enough to boost employment.

Free stock tips : Rupee likely to open weak 8 Sep, 2015

Free Stock Tips & Updates - Today, the INR(Indian rupee) may continue to remain on the back foot with the US dollar weakening as compared to the major currencies.Rupee is supposed to open weaker and seek cues from equities. The benchmark 7.72 per-cent government security maturing in 2025 slumped to Rs 99.4350 from 99.7575 previously, while its yield rose to 7.80 per-cent. A week before the data comes in - with a one week's lag - about USD 3.5 billion went out. Foreigners have been selling every day. Figures show at least a triple digit million dollar figure of people pulling out money and that explains the fall in the rupee as well.

In the meantime, China is assumed to have sold 2.5 per-cent of its reserves of USD 94 billion in August month to boost its equity markets as well as the economy. Today's opening may see rupee unchanged on the back of the outflows from China. The number came out on yesterday and it was positive because people supposed that they had sold USD 200 billion.
