The 30-share index was trading at 25,241, down 69 pts or 0.27 per-cent. It attained a high of 25,306.14 and a low of 25,239.56 in early morning trade.
The Nifty-50 was at 7,679 down 22 pts or 0.30 per-cent. It touched a high of 7,701.55 and a low of 7,677.65 in the first 30 mins of trade.
The S&P BSE Midcap Index was down 0.36 per-cent and BSE S&P Smallcap Index were trading down 0.19 per-cent.

Top gainers are - BHEL (up 1.7 per-cent), ITC (up 0.59 per-cent), HUL (up 0.55 per-cent), and Sun Pharma (up 0.49 per-cent).
Dr Reddy's Laboratories (down 2.8 per-cent), Bharti Airtel (down 1.9 per cent), Tata Steel (down 1.8 per cent), Vedanta (down 1.7 per-cent), and GAIL India (down 1.4 per-cent) were among the major Sensex losers.
Nifty50 index has resistance placed in the region of 9,925-9,930, and if it holds above this resistance zone, the next resistance is placed in the region of 9,960-9,970. capitalstars
