Today, the 30-share index was trading at 25,455, down 74 points or 0.30 per-cent. It reached a high of 25,488.42 and a low of 25,431.22 in early trading time.
The Nifty-50 was at 7,745, down 20 pts or 0.26 per-cent. It reached a high of 7,753.05 and a low of 7,734.10 in the first 30 mins of trade.
The S&P BSE Midcap Index was down 0.12 per cent and BSE S&P Smallcap Index was trading 0.01 per cent lower.
Among the major Sensex losers were- Dr Reddy's Laboratories (down 1.2 per-cent), HDFC (down 1.2 per cent), Vedanta (down 1.2 per cent), , Hindalco Industries (down 1.07 per-cent), and ONGC (down 1 per cent) . While, Tata Motors (up 1.03 per-cent), Infosys (up 0.30 per-cent), Hero MotoCorp (up 0.2 per cent), and HUL (up 0.11 per-cent) were among the major Sensex gainers.
