In today's trade Free stock tips , Shares of Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals (GSFC) climbed over 8 per-cent in Monday's trade after the company reported a 15 per-cent every year increase in September Q(quarter) total profit to Rs 142.64 cr. The fertiliser company had reported a total profit of Rs 124.31 cr in the corresponding Q(quarter) last year.

The stock surged 8.35 per-cent to strike a high of Rs 75.20 on BSE(Bombay Stock Exchange). Around to be 3.39 lakh GSFC shares got traded on BSE compared with a two-week average volume of 86,000 shares. The scrip has regained some momentum in the previous few weeks. It has regained around 24 per-cent from its 52-week low of Rs 61 which it had strike on 9th Sep.
Operating profit margins for the @(quarter) fell to 13 per-cent (from 13.65 per-cent YoY), but earnings per share (EPS) improved to Rs 3.58 (from Rs 3.12). And the fertiliser company reported its earnings post market hours of Friday last week.
