Equity Tips - The 30-share Sensex ended high gaint by 17.19 points at 28,463.31 and 50-share Nifty gaint 1.80 spot at 8,609.85. The broader markets, but, out execute the benchmark indices- BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices were up 0.2-0.4%. The market range closed neutral. Out of 2,969 stocks traded on the BSE, there were 1,433 advancing stocks as opposed 1,402 declines. NSE Cash income was Rs.14,983crs.

As per the provisional figures on Friday, FIIs were net buyers of Rs. 605.56 cr in the cash market and Rs. 126.86 cr in the F&O markets. DIIs were net sellers of Rs. 175.15 cr in the cash market.
