MARKET ANALYSIS
The Nifty pared most of the intraday losses towards the end of the session
but closed below 7,500 due to profit booking in FMCG and technology
sectors.
It ended at 7,499.30, down 12.15 points or 0.16 per cent. It touched
intraday high of 7,534.80 and a low of 7,441.60 in trade today. The index
had slipped below 20-DMA for the first time since May 8.
The S&P BSE Sensex closed at 25,031.32, down 74.19 points or 0.30 per
cent. It touched intraday high of 25,197.50 and a low of 24,878.66 in trade
today.
The market breadth was positive on the NSE with 511 gainers against 429
losers.
The foreign institutional investors sold shares worth Rs 220.65 crore while
domestic institutional investors were net buyers worth Rs 73.85 crore on
Friday as per the provisional data from the National Stock Exchange.

intraday high of 7,534.80 and a low of 7,441.60 in trade today. The index
